Union at dinner was excellent just as their brunch was. We started with the charcuterie board and focaccia- the Tasso ham on the charcuterie board really impressed me, as did the cheese with seaweed. Our mains also made everyone happy. My trout was superb with the black lentils. The wine list was attractive and I was very happy with the by the glass options - my Gamay was a great compliment to the trout. The decor in the restaurant is upscale hotel, and on a Sunday night when other restaurants are closed Union is a good option. It makes for a quiet dinner but we had plenty of time to savor the meal. The kids menu offers a lot of great options for picky eaters - my daughter had a salmon fillet with fries, for example.
Never tried the food, only stopped in for the drinks. Great ambiance, service was great, and the cocktails were great wonderful but very expensive! Depending on the money you want to spend... give this place a try. They have some interesting cocktail flavors. 5oz pours on very expensive wine. I really love how you can see the steeple from the Catherdal of the Immaculate Conception from the window! May God's peace be with you always!
Modern restaurant with good flavors! Pricey menu but meant as shareables. Staff is very kind. Good spot for date night. Spacious interior and lots of seating.
This is the perfect restaurant to go to before a show at the Merrill Auditorium as it's across the street. We sat at the high tops in the bar and were served by Amy. The bar seats have low backs and are not that comfortable for a long stay. Happy hour specials were excellent, we had $2 Oysters and $7 Brussel sprouts. Their drink special was a sangria for $10. We all had fish dishes (The white fish and Steelhead Trout) Everyone was satisfied but the portion was quite small for the price. If you eat at Union and still have time to kill, they have another bar in the hotel lobby that is simply beautiful. Bathrooms were meticulously cleaned.
